so today she was going to buy some vintage cowboy boots when she caught my reflection in the glass window of a child's toy store. she saw the bones poking through the porcealin skin-the stick like legs branching from the tattered, red converse. the frumpy coat shielding the delicate frame of a still life-girl. the thin, feminine hands painted white by pain holding a starbucks coffee cup, while the other lay hidden in turquoise vintage rings, yielding chipped red fingernails. the face, half covered by chanel sunglasses, revieling only a small, thin, pearl pink mouth and nearly absent, flushed cheeks. the bleached blonde waves jutting from her skull, so bruised and broken it cna barely hide her most inner thoughts...at least, this is what a stranger might see. what she sees is an obese, horrible monster. the worst thing ever happened to this planet. in shock and sheer terror, she runs home, feeling the tears fly from her face back into the wind behind her, where they will fly, land, and embed themselves into the sullen soil, and bring life to a new, hopeless, flower. shes real.
